Savory Spinach Dip (lighter recipes)


Ingredients 

2 bundles (9 ounces each) Green Giant™ solidified slashed spinach 

½ glass decreased fat harsh cream 

1 ½ glasses plain without fat yogurt 

2 teaspoons slashed new tarragon leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves 

½ teaspoon salt 

½ teaspoon ground mustard 

¼ teaspoon pepper 

1 garlic clove, squashed 

1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, depleted and finely slashed 

1 glass finely hacked green onion (9 medium) 

Rye saltines, rice wafers or crude vegetables for plunging, whenever wanted 

Directions 

1 Cook spinach as coordinated on the bundle. Cool marginally; press to deplete well. 

2 Meanwhile, in an expansive bowl, blend sharp cream, yogurt, tarragon, salt, mustard, pepper, and garlic. Blend in cooked spinach, water chestnuts, and green onions. 

3 Cover and refrigerate 1 hour to mix flavors. Present with saltines.
